The bi-directional UIB Language Volunteering programme was established with the aim of being an enriching experience for international and local students alike to:

• Support language learning from a cultural heritage and communication approach, especially Catalan given its status as the autochthonous language of the Balearic Islands
• Boost foreign language learning amongst local students.

Activities are structured across two areas:
