The University of the Balearic Islands has a major footprint on social media. Although the 'Language Use Regulations' do not specifically state the language to be used for posts, it should be understood that Article 10.2 is applicable since they are posts from the UIB: 'Magazines, reports, posters and, in general, institutional publications by the UIB must be in Catalan, except for those specifically addressed to readers outside of Catalan-speaking territories, which may also be in a different language.'
